Although we had a small turn out last night, it was one of the most awesome worship experiences I have had on this trip! I really felt God right beside me and you could tell he was there. One very important thing I have learned on this trip is that it doesn't matter if theres 1 person or 100 people in the crowd, we are all a body of one and everything we do is for the glory of God! Keep us in your prayers as our trip comes to an end tomomrrow, that the fire that God has set in our hearts will keep burning bright for Him as we return home.

Best Day Off Ever

Yesterday was totally different then any other day from these two weeks. We had the opportunity (thanks to Matt and Junita) to have a "fun day" in Gatlinburg. I won't lie it was absolutely amazing!! I have only been to Gatlinburg one time before and never had the chance to do what I did yesterday. When we first arrived there we went to the Ripley's Aquarium!!! How fun!! For me it just reminded me of how awesome God is and all the different creations he made!! So many neat and interesting things we saw!! Afterwards we ate lunch and then split up and made our way around the downtown area. Some of us went up on the Skylift, went to the haunted house, the 4-D theater, and then of course my favorite....SHOPPING! I think the team would agree with me in saying the best part of the whole trip would be eating at the HARD ROCK CAFE for dinner! Awesome food! Great times!! Cool store to shop in once again!! In all our day off was great BUT something I found very neat was the fact that through out the whole day we were all singing or talking about our instruments and some type of worship that we are all involved in!! Just goes to show that God is amazing in showing our true passions in our life!!!

Bloggy McBloggerson

...so we got in at about 2 this morning from the studio. We layed down a song, and it was soo-weet, if I do say so myself -and I do. But aside from my own personal biases, God had to be in the recording of that song because we did the whole thing in like 5 1/2 to 6 hrs (mixing and all) and still came home with something we could listen to and enjoy. It was a good experience.

And then we slept...

After breakfast and some time for personal reflection we decided to keep on truckin'. So we headed up to Rutland Chapel at the Ridgecrest Conference Center for an excellent night with some of the staffers there. It was awesome.

Well...that's it.
Keep it Funky!
God Bless

good to be in my hometown...update from Lenoir

Wow, what a crazy week it has been...It seems like we have been on the road for weeks and it's crazy that it has only been 3 nights. But tonight, it was great to come through Lenoir, my home town, and worship with my friends and family. After a long and tiring weekend on the road, tonight was just a total refreshment for me. I am so blessed to be traveling with such a dedicated and Godly team. So yea, anyway, here's the way it went today...
7:45 - wake up with 5 minutes to be at the van with everything...yea, slept a little late.
Breakfast was awesome, pancakes and eggs...the works. The rest of the morning was spent on the road from Virginia, kind of a blur. We went to Wendy's for lunch at 1, and they totally defied the law of "Fast Food." After a half an hour of waiting on the food, we eat and head toward Flemings Chapel.
2:10 - Arrived at Flemings, unpack, setup, you know the drill. Our team at this point is weak...Wendy's was a little rough, the ride was draining, everything was just like ugh...so we prayed and prayed for the strength to make it through and the Lord blessed us with it.
From then on, when we walked on that stage, I have been so upbeat, happy, wired, just totally sold out. The sanctuary was totally packed out and I don't think anyone left there unhappy. I was touched so much tonight. It's one thing to join a group of total strangers in worship...but alongside your famliy and closest friends is the most awesome experience to me. I was growing homesick and I was afraid tonight would only make it worse, but my friends only encouraged me and put a fire in my heart. I am so excited about the rest of the week, and I have so much more to say but I really need to try to get some sleep. I want to thank everyone who was there tonight and everyone who has been praying for us. Keep up the support as we finish out the week.

In Him,
Jonathan Penny

Greetings from the Sharp Shooter

The hardest part about starting one of these things is starting one of these things...So here it goes...It is now 12:18 on Sunday morning...day 6 of the 100.2 tour. Time sure has flown by. Tonight we were in Lynchburg, VA. It felt like I was back at my second home. Can't wait for school to start back. Anwyays, the tour has been amazing so far. I'm sure plenty of other people have already talked about practicing for 12 hours straight and about the long car rides, so I won't say anything more about it...except this...the life of a musician on the road is fantastic! All of the people in the group are great! We're having so much fun. I don't even know how to begin to describe how good this trip has been. I have learned so much about how to make band rehearsals better and how to create a unified team after the practices that we had on the first two days. The worship that we have experienced during these last three nights have been really good. God sure has revealed himself to us and taught us something new about him every day. It is so refreshing to be gathered together with a group of people who love to worship him. Tonight was fun because it was mainly a bunch of teens that were there. They were jumping around and having a good time during a lot of the songs. Well it is way past my bedtime, so I reckon I had better scoot. I'd like to give a couple of shout out's if I may....

Yo G. - I miss you guys. Can't wait to see you in Lenoir tomorrow! Love you

Kris - Wish you could be here. We're having a blast. Have fun at the lake or whatever it is that you've been doing all week. See ya tomorrow! 21 ;-)

Goodnight everyone. Hope to see you all in the next coming days. And always remember....cheat to win. haha

Wow What a trip so far!!!

This trip so far has been absolutely amazing!!! The things that God has presented to us and shown us so far has truly been eye opening. Thinking about what he will do through the rest of our time together blows my mind. There have been so many cool things that have happened so far. God has definitely taught and then reminded me of the "important" things that we sometimes forget. Alot of times we get so caught up in our lives that we forget who put us here and for what purpose. For me at least it goes from friends, what guy is in my life, where I am supposed to be that night, things like that. Our purpose is to serve our king in EVERYTHING we do!! People sometimes think that worship only involves a few hours of their time on Sunday morning..... WRONG!!! Worship should be involved in everything you do! The services that we have had so far have been absolutely amazing!!! God has definitely moved! Im so excited and so pumped about everything to come! If you are reading this and have not come to one of the churches to worship.....please come!!!! Dont come to hear how we sound but come to truly worship and try to grow closer to God!!!!

What a GOD Day!!

12:51 am, saturday

Well, yesterday actually was an incredible day of seeing spiritual warfare played out in front of us. It began fine... we got out of the house on schedule to make it to Cooleemee NC in plenty of time for a 7 pm service. We arrived at Grace Community in Marion to load our trailer, and realized we'd left a few items at home. So I went back, and the team began to load the trailer. When I got back to the house in black mountain, the battery on my van died. Clarke from 106.9 graciously jumped me off, but the whole delay set us back about an hour. I had to keep the van running the whole time because turning it off might mean it wouldn't start again. We arrived in Cooleemee about 4 and began to set up. I went to get a new battery from a auto parts chain that advertises FREE BATTERY INSTALLATION. I purchased a battery from them after telling them that I was from out of town, no tools, etc and needed them to put it in. After I paid for it, they told me they couldn't put it in. Thankfully the vehicle turned over and started. Praise God one of the sweet people at the Cooleemee Church Of God put it in for me.

In spite of all the fiery dart of the evil one (the story above is just a few of many we dodged last night) God was present during the service, and MANY worshipped!! We were blessed by Him and by our new friends in Cooleemee.

Off to bed, up in the morning, and heading to Lynchburg!!

first night...

so...it looks like 21 hours of practice over three days may have paid off. I think that our being so prepared allowed us to really engage in worship. God has already began to do great things....and i know He is going to continue....PLEASE keep prayin for us....we have a long way yet to go but we are all excited....

CHANNING
Well this day came really fast. I wasn't really sure what to expect the very first night of our tour, but it was awesome. Although it did take a few songs before it all came together, when it finally did you could definitely tell God was there! Thank you to all who have been praying for us. Please continue praying as we continue over the next week.

~~BLADOW!!!~~

Whew!

I just flew in from 12 hours of practice and boy are my arms tired...literally. But, all jokes aside, today was a lot of work. But things are coming together on the technical end of the spectrum. We've been cranking out tunes like there's no tomorrow. However (God willing) there will be a tomorrow and that means the official start of the tour. That's right, we're hitting up Grace Community tomorrow night -official Church of Mr. Matthew Stockman.

Anyways we're all getting pretty anxious to see what all God's going to do over the next week or so, and hopefully if you're reading this you'll get to see for your self one night very soon.

--Peace out,
--Bryan

mymymy where to start! first of all, i didnt even think i would be here in the 1st place, so to be able to play with such talented folks is SuCh a BlEsSiNg to me!! we all streamed in to matt & junita's, some thinking this day would never come.. some thinking it came faster than they expected. with a quick tish at the house, we were more or less off to the church to set up our gear and start a 4 to 5 hr rehearsal. u think THATS long, we got an ALL DAY one comin up tomorrow! practice practice practice. man oh man we'll go over the same thing again and again, but it helps in the end cause we dont have to worry about whats comin up next and we can zero in on the real focus.. JESUS CHRIST! we have a lot more practicing to do, but its gonna sound great!
if i could say one thing to the people who are coming to one of the concerts, i would say that you HAVE been prayed for, we genuinly love u, and GET READY TO GET CrUnK JESUS-STYLE!!!
